The National Science Center announced a ranking list of projects qualified for funding in OPUS 8 and PRELUDIUM 8 calls for basic research. There are two projects proposed by GNSS&Meteo WG members.

Prof. Jaroslaw Bosy will be a leader of “Multi-GNSS real-time Precise Point Positioning ” project. Its main goal is to develop a new methodology (mathematical model) and a prototype algorithms for real-time multi-frequency GNSS (Multi-GNSS) kinematic precise positioning on the basis of Precise Point Positioning technique (PPP), with raw (uncombined) pseudorange and carrier phase measurements supported with high temporal and spatial resolution models of ionosphere and troposphere delay (so called PPP-RTK).

Karina Wilgan will be a leader of a project “Prognostic troposphere model based on meteorological data, GNSS products and Numerical Weather Prediction models”. Main goal of this project is to establish an integrated, prognostic model of troposphere based on Numerical Weather Prediction (NWP) models integrated with the meteorological observations and GNSS products. Data provided by different sources are highly inhomogeneous, both in time and in space. Main objective is to calculate values of tropospheric parameters at any point, with known accuracy then predicting these parameters with known accuracy.
